What's Your Story?

We have spent this past year meeting with many community partners, experts, and Oregonians with lived experience around the state to identify barriers, innovative programs, and policies from around the state and the country.

Sharing stories about birthing disparities are crucial in highlighting real-life experiences of discrimination, neglect, and systemic barriers in maternal healthcare, driving awareness and advocacy for change. These firsthand accounts amplify marginalized voices, pushing for policy reforms, improved medical training, and equitable healthcare practices to combat racial disparities in maternal outcomes.
