Access to comprehensive behavioral health care during pregnancy is essential for the well-being of both parent and baby, reducing stress, improving birth outcomes, and supporting long-term mental health.

Expand Project Nurture and Nurture Oregon. Integrated Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment for pregnant people and people with babies.

Fund more slots in more counties with a phased roll out. Structural support for expansion, including staffing and site-specific resources. Allow path for hospital admission for fentanyl detoxification (using methadone).

Allow peer support specialists to be able to bill in a broader array of contexts, not just purely behavioral health facility's.

Allow extended 5 day birth hospitalization for Substance Use Disorder treatment, withdrawal support, social support, and establishing early bonding.
